Are you interested in acting or the performing arts? Check out the Anglo Cypriot Theatre (ACT)! Even if you don't want to be onstage, they could probably use a helping hand backstage. ACT produces the Christmas pantomime as well as a summer Shakespeare play.

Prefer to look brainy? There's a monthly quiz night hosted by and in aid of Cans for Kids .   The typical format is eight rounds of ten questions each with few bonus rounds that can be worked on as the questions are being asked. Teams are a maximum of six players. Either build your own team or just come along and there will always be places where you can slot in!

Not got a head for trivia? Always wanted to work on your public speaking skills? There's the Nicosia Toastmasters club that meets once every three Fridays. Check the website for the actual dates as they vary from year to year. The club takes a summer break for the months of July and August.
